So we need to treat ryze this way aswell. I've had a ton of success with this build. As you say, Ryze's passive is in two parts: gaining damage from bonus mana, and gaining bonus mana from AP. The damage gained from mana scalings does not show up in the passive itself. It is shown for each individual basic ability through their mana scalings. You can see this in the wiki. She shouldn't be able to CS without being harassed. Zed: This one is hard if it's a good Zed, but you can time your ult with his to counter it. At the very least, break his kneecaps with W and E.
