When you are farming breeding your crops there is a rare chance, not like super rare BDO style, just regular rare lol not sure on percentages, anyway a mole item will proc and upon pressing r to retrieve a mole spawns that you kill. It typically drops a couple of each Blackstone and a Spirit pouch of ferocious beast.
If you do the simplified quest, you lose all Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon and Mediah main quests. So if you are working to get 30k quests, you should always avoid the simplified quest line.
